The dimension of the objects in the sketch might not be proportionate among them.
While installing a safety valve to protect a boiler, we suggest installing at the inlet of same, after the check valve and without ball valve or similar. In this case the seat of the safety valve is more protected because it is not in contact with the hot water and there are few possibilities of calcareous deposits.
